This site is built with Zola. I read L'Assommoir in 9th grade and I hated it. The open-source SSG is great though. They could've named it Balzac.

I took the color palette from here. CSS is a mix of myself and Claude.

about me

Born in Boston. Raised in Montréal.

From 3 y/o to 6th grade, I was educated at École Buissonnière. Great school, art-focused. I sadly don't remember much, and I didn't blog about it. The biggest and greatest lesson I learned from those years is that I have to own myself. This is actually an imperfect translation of the original il faut que je m'assume.

From 7th to 12th grade (present), I studied at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. Amazing school, great community and incredibly strong alumni network for a high school. I took 4 years of Latin, which was an incredibly opportunity and a blessing. I studied the language but also the Roman history and culture. Highlights from that period:

• Highest GPA in 8th grade.
• Awarded the Trudeau 3-year scholarship out of 72 students in the Latin program for my interest and passion for the classes.
• Finished second in the Classical Association of Canada's high school Latin translation contest.
• Played varsity volleyball for four years. Totally sucked at it but I learned a lot, and have loved sports ever since--I hated it before.
• Played varsity lacrosse for six years. Didn't totally suck at it. Absolutely loved it. Played twice in the national tournament for Team Quebec. Finished 3rd the second time (summer 2025).
• Created a tech entrepreneurship conference at my high school. Incredibly speakers. Hundred of attendees. More on the Instagram account.

I just completed high school--technically one year earlier because I'm in the CEGEP system. Guess I'm a high school dropout ;>)

Joining the Waterloo Mechatronics program this fall.
